Portage Padres Win 2018 SCBL Championship

On the road in game 4 the Portage Padres claimed their second title in three seasons. After winning games 1 and 2, Carberry took game 3 in commanding fashion 7-1 to extend the series. After a six day layoff the two teams met up for game 4 in Carberry. A combined pitching effort from the Padres resulted in a one-hit game and 6-2 victory for Portage. Great season for both clubs. Portage will be attending Senior AA Provincials this weekend along with the host Neepawa Cubs. Good luck to both teams!
