Royals lose to Stallions

We lost to the Stallions in three games in the playoffs this year. We managed to get nine guys out for the series which was a bonus. With a couple of guys in the field and four of them at the Baseball Canada U21 Nationals we knew we were in deep. We lost the first game 9-7. We played well and Luke pitched a complete game....not bad for his second time on the bump this year. This one could have went either way quite easily. Nick Anderson took to the hill for game two and pitched a complete game which we won 9-4. Game three simply saw the Stallions jump out to an early lead. Brent Puetz and Brett Doepker did all they could for us on the mound, but the Stallions were simply too much. Great effort boys!!
