Docs Win

The Dr. Stewarts beat the Medford Mustangs last night at Legion Field.  They came back from 2-run deficits twice and, ultimately, a 3-run deficit to beat the Mustangs for the second time in as many tries in this young season.  Between the two teams, there were 20 runs, 19 hits and 9 errors, making this a very entertaining game indeed.

The Docs play their first game as host in the Tyree Oil Fathers Day Summer Kickoff Tournament tomorrow evening at 5:00 PM against the Eugene Challengers.  The tournament runs through Sunday with four games each day so there is ample opportunity to watch Americal Legion Baseball this week at Legion Field.  The Docs play on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM.
