Docs Finish Third in Area 4

The Doc Stewarts finished their regular season last night with a pair of league wins against the visiting Klamath Falls Falcons.  That followed up a sweep of the Medford Mustangs the night before.  The Docs finished in 3rd place in Area 4, ahead of Medford in the standings based on their head-to-head results against the Mustangs.

Next up for the Docs is a Super Regional match-up against the Portland Barbers.  The Docs will travel to Portland for the first game on Monday, July 22.  Game 2 will be Tuesday with a third and deciding game the same day, if necessary, to determine which team will play in next week's American Legion State Tournament.  No game times have been provided yet, but the games will be broadcast on 541radio.com and will be streamed online as well.
