Another defensive gem

For the second time this week the Camrose Roadrunners won a game where pitching and defense were the order of the day.
Starters Hans Haugen of the Roadrunners and Joel Boettger of the Royals both went the distance, keeping the hitters off balance and benefitting from strong defensive support, as Camrose moved back into a first-place tie with a close 4-2 win on Tuesday night.
Warren Boychuk’s three RBI’s and Dan Campbell’s two runs scored provided the offensive thrust for the Roadrunners, who were out-hit 7-6 by the visitors.
