Rubber Match Set for 2019 Final

For the third consecutive year the Boissevain Centennials and Oak River Dodgers will face off for the SWBL crown. Both teams have rolled through the playoffs, each going undefeated to reach the championship. Boissevain won the lone head-to-head match-up this season, as Zane Sawyer outlasted Brady Moxham in a 2-0 pitcher's duel, both going the distance allowing just ten hits combined. The series gets kicked off on Wednesday, July 31st and the teams' playoff statistics are highlighted below.
In other news, it was another impressive win for the SWBL as they went undefeated en route to a second consecutive "AA" All-Star Provincial Championship. The final took 9-innings, but the SWBL outlasted Brandon 4-3 to take the crown. Nolan Jago led the charge at the plate in the final going 3-5 with an RBI and a run scored.
