Champs receive Spirit grant

The Leduc Milleteers won a championship and then won another prize of sorts recently with the Alberta Government’s announcement of Community Spirit Grants for 2009-2010.
The “Milleteers Senior Baseball Club” received $900 from the grant.

The Holdon Blue Jays and the Ryley Rebels have expressed interest in getting a grant to help improve their diamonds. The Armena Athletic Association is also looking to acquire a grant to improve the playground nearby the ball diamond.
