Leclaire’s one-hitter spoiled

Tuesday night’s matchup and possible playoff preview had Bardo’s veteran Mike Leclaire and the Jay’s ace Kyle Muzechka.

Both Pitchers dominated the side in the first inning of the game and never looked back. This was Leclaire’s first start of the season and showed no signs of rust.

With only 3 k’s on the night he let the infield do its work. The only run of the game came with an unfortunate string of errors from the bardo crew.

The base runner got on by an overthrow which allowed the runner to proceed to 2nd, with a mix-up in signals an attempted pickoff allowed the runner to score from second.

Bardo attempted a comeback in the top of the 7th but was shot down by a ozzie smith like double play by Holden’s shortstop that put an end to the A’s night.

Bardo head’s to Armena on Thursday day night to makeup a rained out game from last week in hopes that Jobu will make an appearance and make his presence felt and spark some life in Bardo’s bats.
