Bardo’s bats come to life

Tuesday nights game against Holden was considered a must win for Bardo. They came into the game with a 0-2 record and defeinately not wanting to drop to 0-3 made for an offensive blowout.

The Athletics rotation allowed 8 walks throughout the game as well as 4 HBP. This gave Holden more than enough opportunities to score all night long. The Jays were unable to score when the heat was on and had 12 runners left on base. Their offence was lead by Brian Ziegler who was a triple shy of the cycle.

The A’s definately came to bat on Tuesday as they had 13 hits on the night as well as a bit of patience with 7 walks. Their offence was lead by CF Craig Neufeld who although had a rough night in center with two errors made up for it with 7 RBI’s on the night.

Both newcomers Dylan Berrecloth and Joel Henriksen had good nights at the dish with Dylan hitiing in 4 batter’s and Joel going a solid 4-4 on the night.
