Roster deadline Friday

A reminder that your 18-man roster must be submitted this Friday, June 3. Anyone not on this roster cannot play in subsequent games or playoffs.
Send rosters by email, with player numbers preferably, to buzzell_17@hotmail.com. They will be posted on the website early next week.
Start thinking all-star game
Can you believe we’re almost to the half-way point of the season already?
That means in the next two weeks teams need to pick their two all-star representitives and send them to stevenpahl2000@yahoo.ca and cc buzzell_17@hotmail.com for the website and to forward on to Larry Lewsaw.
President Steve Pahl will likely be advising us exactly how we’ll be picking the pitchers for this year’s game.
This is the 11th year for the challenge and the PBL holds a slim lead at 5-4-1. The 9-inning game is June 28 in Camrose.
Upcoming tournaments
The Camrose Roadrunner tournament unfortunately didn’t come to fruition this week, but Bardo Day (June 11) and Ryley Sports Days (June 17-19) are a go. Good luck to all the teams participating.
It’s encouraging to see these two staples of the PBL, especially Ryley Sports Days, which is fast becoming quite the spectacle of an event, going strong.
Armena is looking into the possibility of a tournament now that their field is ready to go, but it may be too late. Stay tuned.
