Pitching and Defense Key to Camrose Win

Josh Banack scattered five Holden hits over seven innings and got solid support from his defense as the Camrose Roadrunners edged the Holden Blue Jays 6 – 3 on Thursday night.

Banack also led the offense as both he and Sheldon Petryshyn scored twice and also drove in a run. Stephen Hrabec went the distance for Holden as well, allowing only six hits, but got in trouble early, allowing five runs in the first two innings before settling in.

The win was the third in the last four games for the improving Roadrunners.
