Oh, hail no!

Oh, hail no!

What was supposed to be the end of the regular season ended up being a scary display in Mother Nature’s cruelness as havoc was spewed from the sky and players huddled in dugouts while a half hour nightmare of hail and rain swept over Armena.

The pictures don’t do it justice.

Baseball size hail, massive buckets of rain, cracks of thunder and bolts of lightning came crashing down around 6:30 p.m. as teams were preparing to get on the field.

Armena’s diamond will take weeks to dry out.

The teams have tentatively agreed to play in Rosalind tonight to get the season over with because the Camrose diamond is booked.

More rain is expected later in the week and the other teams in the league are pushing to get the playoffs started.

However, with this contest deciding so much, the other games cannot be figured out until this final regular season game is played.
