Dear Coach BLANK,

My name is Owen Frasier and I’m a 5’9 180lb junior infielder from Fort Vancouver High School in Vancouver, Washington.  I am writing you today because I am interested in attending BLANK School to play BLANK.  The reason why I am considering BLANK College is because of (add something academic, location, something that says you actually know about the college).   Currently, I am in my second year as a varsity starter and have been named (add accolades from bio including all-league, team awards, stats, PRs).  I am interested in majoring in BLANK in college and currently have a 4.0 gpa with a 1500 on my SATs (include clubs, academic bio).  I recently filled out the prospective athlete form from your team’s webpage and wanted to follow up with an email with some more about myself.  If possible, I would love to come to campus for a visit and/or a workout with the team.  Also, any additional information you could send me about your program and school would be appreciated.  My mailing address is BLANK.
