The Milleteers travelled to Holden to open the season on a chilly Saturday night and promptly dropped their first season opener since joining the PBL.

Two costly errors and three walks led to an unearned run in the first, and that was all Blue Jays starter Grayson Soprovich needed as he threw a two hit shut out and notched 13 strikeouts.
The Milleteers ice cold bats showed a little life in the seventh as they got runners on second and third with one out, but a great diving stab on a liner with the drawn in infield ended the threat and sealed the win for the young Blue Jays.
