2014 Leduc Milleteers Tournament Draw Finalized

The draw has been finalized for the first men’s baseball tournament to be hosted in Leduc in decades. The Milleteers have partnered up with Leduc Minor Ball, who will run the beer gardens, the Canadian Brewhouse, and the City of Leduc who provided funding in the form of a grant from the Sports Tourism Fund. Despite getting no love from their PBL brethren the tournament will be a five team double elimination tournament that kicks of Friday night as the host Leduc Milleteers take on the 2012 Senior AA champs from Lacombe. Then Saturday the Rosalind Athletics from the Batte River Baseball League take on the Innisfail Indians from the Parkland League. The defending AA Provincial champs from Provost are also taking part in the tournament. The teams will vie for a $750.00 first place prize.
