DODGERS UPDATES

Spring ball in Oregon has been cancelled. Legion has cancelled its World Series and all Regionals.

Legion Oregon has not made a decision on whether there will be a summer season, long or short, with the State Championship being the goal. Consequently, the Dodgers have NOT terminated the 2020 summer season.

With this in mind, Willamette University has closed its facilities until August. Dave Withnell has advised me his agency cannot underwrite a summer season this summer given the economic s as a result of the virus.  Therefore, to have a summer seaon a new location to practice and play is needed and oue budget will require aggressive fund raising.

Personally, the safety of the players and coaches is paramount. If one player comes down with the virrus, I will need to quarantine the whole team. That would most likely end the season if such continues to be the requirement..
