The Jacket is back!

It was so nice to be at the ballpark when it isn't 1000 degrees out.  We matched up against the Guns tonight, and they threw a tumber at us who was really solid and made it really difficult on guys all night, they always seem to have a guy like that on their roster.  Thankfully, the boys went on a barrell streak in the 7th inning and put us in the lead for good, giving us a 9-4 Dubb.  Latty threw another great game and there were many highlights, perhaps most importantly the return of the Jacket, our storied game-day MVP award to be worn regardless of weather conditions (looking to be a hot day Saturday...).  Anyways, here's the highlights:

-Latty, again, just ridiculous giving us a chance every night.

-Stebner with a Triple and a BOMB...his numbers...decent.

-Dayton with a MASSIVE 3-run double putting us in the lead for good and caught another great game earning the first JACKET award since 2016.  

-Riki with an outstanging bunt to really set the table for the big inning, and another two-hit day.

-Campo with the rare and incredibly clutch leadoff pinch hit in the 7th.

-The umpire distracting Dayton by jumping around in front of him during a throw home from the outfield at a vital juncture of the game...there's no words for this one.

-Luis showing up at the park @ 3pm and tiring himself out for game time running around and doing other things.

-Jake rocked a bullet double.  

-Seitz and Kenny with a pair of knocks each.

-The Jacket could have gone to several guys tonight.

-other stuff.

Back at it with the Guns on Saturday to round out the series, probaby going to be hot again.
