Series Vs. the White Sox

Again, catching up here, so details are foggy.  We had a couple solid games here, but again managed to drop this series 2 games to 1.  

Game 1 we took a 2-run lead off a 2 run MAMMO job from Latty.  Dobber had a great start, but we probably kept him in too long.  Jake, Luis and Campo threw relief, Campo channeling 135Lb Jose from four years ago and mowed.  Jordan Lee had a clutch knock, Dubbsy played some unreal defence in centre along with his typically excellent presence at the dish, and Schlenks made his debut appearance of the season as well.  But we lost.

Game 2 we won on an outstanding start from Pfeil going 5 strong and was relieved by Havers who again looked great, he intentionally gave up a wall scraper of a bomb just to boost the ERA enough so as to not gain notice from those around the league...smart!  Riki had two knocks, like he always seems to, Jayde striped an RBI double, Stebner tied the single season triples record for the club, and Dayton made an UNREAL diving catch on a popup to the screen, recovered and gunned a runner at third, without question the play of the season to this point.  7-6 win for us.

Game 3, baseball happened, we lost 2-1 in extras, Latty was dialed as per usual, striking out 15.  Both runs were unearned, which is unfortunate.  We out hit the Sox 10-4 and lined out countless times, including the rare double-play where Dobber hit a nuclear liner that deflected off the pitchers glove at full stretch, re-directing straight to the second baseman's chest, who caught it in self defence then casually stepped on the bag...textbook. Kenny threw a solid inning of relief and had a couple knocks of his own, and really that's what happened.  Also, it was extremely smoky out, and we probably shouldn't have played, but we did.  So, yah.
