BOLD falls to Morris in first round of playoffs

The Blue Angels played well enough to win, but lost a close on 7-5 at Chizek Field on Tuesday in the first round of the playoffs. Rylan Gass threw really well for BOLD going 6 1/3 before hitting his pitch limit. He struck out 9 and gave the road squad a chance to win. Carson Edwards led the offense with 2 knocks and a laser to end the game. Next up for BOLD is an elimination game vs. ACGC in Atwater on Thursday, 7/22. Time likely to be 5 pm first pitch, still awaiting confirmation. Sam Sigurdson on the bump.
