Game 1 with the Dukes

Strange day at the park, the boys came out swinging and didn't stop.  23-9 win was the result of a great start from Dobber, followed by innings from Palmiere and Campo.  A couple weird things happened, the Dukes manager accidently made a second mound visit in the 2nd inning forcing an unintended pitching change, Kale hit what we think is the first legitimate ground-rule double in league history, bouncing a SHOT over the wall in deep centre field, and a handful of pop-ups were misplayed thru the 5 innings (but not the one Jake hit to their pitcher!).  Also, the Dukes should switch to the logo pictured, it's awesome.  Here's the highlights:

-Dayton 5-5 with a HBP.  5 singles, 4 RBI

-Kale continued his hot streak, notching 3 more hits including a absolutely MAMMO shot onto Deerfoot and the groud rule double, 4 RBI

-Riki with 4 hits (2 doubles), and 4RBI. 

-Dubbsy, Kenny and Luis also with multi-hit games.

-Luis and Campo brought post-game beers

-Good times were had.
