Soccer roundup: Moylan lifts Grand Oaks over College Park in final minute

Lauren Moylan scored with just about a minute to play Friday afternoon as Grand Oaks won a frigid District 13-6A opener 2-1 over College Park at Woodforest Bank Stadium.

Moylan also scored the first goal for the Grizzlies (7-2, 1-0) in the first half. Ashlynn Sharp had an assist. Sophia Dean made 13 saves in net for Grand Oaks.

Ashley Washburn tied the game in the second half for College Park (6-6, 0-1) with an assist from Taylor Brennan.

Grand Oaks travels to Conroe Tuesday night while College Park travels to Willis.
