Super Win Home Opener

On Wednesday May 25 the Supers hosted the Langenburg Legends. Both teams starting pitchers kept the opposing teams at bay, but in the end Supers ace Kody Rock turned in another gem, allowing just two hits and one run in a 6-1 Supers victory.

Rock struck out 13, and walked just one for another complete game victory. He also set the tone early with a double and a run scored in the first inning. 

The offence took advantage of three first inning walks by Legends ace pitcher Evan Markham, as well as a couple of timely hits to score four and never look back. Two more runs in the third inning sealed the deal. Travis Mentanko had a single, walk and two runs scored. Sean Kolodziejski had a single, while Jayden Heskin had an rbi single and a sac fly. Kholton Shewchuk drew two walks and scored two runs.

Making their Supers debuts were Tanner Denesowych and Shae Peterson. 

The win puts the Supers record at 1-0. The next game will be on Friday, May 27 as the Roblin Stars py a visit to Al Sapieha Field. First pitch is 6:15 PM
