2022 Standings and Playoff Format

As we enter June, we wanted to clarify how the final standings will be determined and playoff formats in each division. The final standings will be determined by: wInning percentage first , then most points (2 points for win and 1 for tie), then most wins, and if there is still a tie between teams then:
1. Head to Head record
2. "Least runs against" in games against each other
3. "Most runs for" in games against each other
4. Coin Flip
The playoff format for the Senior Division is simple: 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3 in the semi finals, and then the winners playoff in the finals. The team with the better regular season record will be the home team and will play in their home park, as long as we have available fields. Semi finals is planned for Wednesday, June 8th and the final game is planned for Wednesday, June 15th. Times to be determined once final standings are in.

The playoff format for the Junior Division is a 6 team single elimination format. So the top two teams will get a bye to the semi finals, and the bottom four teams will playoff against each other. 3rd vs 6th in one game and 4th vs 5th in the other, with the home team being the higher seed and playing in their home park. Then the winners will move on to the semi finals to play the 1st and 2nd place teams. 1st place vs lowest seeded team and 2nd place vs the other team in the home parks of the higher seeded teams. The winners of these two games will playoff in the finals in the home park of the highest seeded team. The 3 vs 6 and 4 vs 5 games are planned for Sunday, June 19th, the semi finals planned for Tuesday, June 21st, and the final game is planned for Thursday, June 23rd. Times to be determined once final standings are in.
