The 2022 season ends with an Area 3 title and a strong showing in the State Tournament. Dodgers beat defending cstate champion Eugene 4-3, lost to runner-up Portland Barbers 1-0, and gave it up to Sherwood in a tight contest. All bodes well for 2023. Briant Stinnett will return as hehead coach.
This season fondly referred to as the "Mike Doran Farewell Tour" to celebrate the baseball coaching career of MD who passed away this past spring. Highlights inclided a 45 game schedule, a perfect game pitvhed by Brody McMullen, a strong showing in the Spokane tourament, a close defeat to the defendining national champion Ideaho , and more.
Sprague graduate Chris Rogers was nominated by Post 136 as student/athlete worthy of scholarship funds from Diamond Baseball.
