The 2022 SWBL Championship will be a match-up between the top two teams from the regular season.
The Boissevain Centennials swept the Oak River Dodgers in their semi-final, led by Jordan Foote at the plate (.615 / 3 RBI / 3 SB), and Skylar Canada on the mound (1-0 / 2.80 ERA / 1 SV).
In the other semi-final, the Deloraine Royals went the distance and defeated the Hamiota Red Sox 8-1 in the 5th and deciding game of the series. David Hodgson (.500 BA), Griffen Ryden (.375, 3 runs), and Mitch Olson (2 HR, 5 RBI) led the offensive charge, while Jeff Edwards went a perfect 3-0 on the mound, eating up 19 of the 36 innings played.
The two teams split the season series 1-1, with both teams earning 4-3 victories at home. The final series kicks off Sunday, August 14th in Boissevain.
