U15 A All Star Tryouts

The 15U Kootenay Kestrels will also be holding tryouts for the 2023 season at Queen Elizabeth Park in Nelson on 29 and 30 April from 10am-12pm. This will be a 15U A development team, and the tryouts will be held after the 15U AA tryouts in Trail on April 24th and 26th.

The Kestrels is a West Kootenay all-star development team that offers a higher level of baseball concurrent with the house season and into mid-July. Last year the team was composed of players from Nelson, Trail, and Castlegar. This year the team will play tournaments in Vernon, Cranbrook, Sandpoint (ID), and Nelson. Practices are tentatively scheduled in Nelson but could be moved to Castlegar and/or Trail depending on roster composition and field availability.
