Hicks Making Headlines!

You will not find a more solid individual than Hampton centerfielder, Brody Hicks!  Hicks quietly goes about his business with a positive attitude, while displaying a strong work ethic along the way.  As quiet as Hicks can be, his numbers are starting to get loud!  As of today, Wednesday, April 19, the lefty has a .321 batting average and .446 on base percentage.  He hit his first career Varsity home run on Monday vs. the Tri Cities Christian Eagles, and his his second triple of the season on Tuesday vs. the Hancock Indians. 

The triple was especialy impressive because he hit it opposite field, in the left field corner.  Brody also threw the ball well on the mound on Monday night, pounding the zone to the tune of 28 strikes in his 38 total pitches.  We are happy for Mr. Hicks and look forward to more big things from him.
