Victory at Pirates

On Monday June 5 the Supers went south to Yorkton to take on the Parkland Pirates. The offence was in fine form as they scored in all but one inning in a 13-6 victory.

The bats had struggled so far to this season, but woke up with fourteen hits, including five players with a pair of hits. Kody Rock led the way with a triple, single and two stolen bases. Evan Rostotski had a double, single and two rbi. Brendon Landstad, Riley Stewart, and Jeff Stewart each had a pair of singles. Derek Palagian, Ian Quewezance, Kholton Shewchuk and Colton Hubic all had one hit. Hubic is a call up from the Parkland AAExpos 18U team and made his debut a memorable one. 

The pitching was once again solid as Shewchuk (4 2/3 innings) and Palagian (2 1/3 innings) threw wellas  Shewchuk picked up the win. The Supers are now 5-1 on the season, and the next action will be Friday June 9 as the Langenburg Legends pay a visit to Al Sapieha Field. First pitch is 6:30 PM
