Zaine McConnell & Daylan Laramee were good as gold on Wednesday night for the Royals and Padres.
In Carberry, The Royals took down the Neepawa Cubs 8-1. McConnell impressed the home crowd with a Homerun, Triple, and 2 walks while batting. He was equally as good on the mound throwing 6 innings of great baseball. His only blemish was a solo shot by 2022 MVP Craig Casto. Carberry moved themselves back to 500 at 4-4, while Neepawa drops to 2-5.
In Portage, The Padres came back from 8-2 en route to a 21-10 bashing of the Austin A's. Daylan Laramee was the star of the show being a double short of the cycle, drving in TEN runs. If that wasnt enough Laramee picked up the win on the mound throwing 4 innings of quality relief. The Padres improve to 4-2, The A's drop to 4-4
In Minnedosa, The first place Pirates made the most of the Maverick errors and cruised to a 9-4 win. Riley McBride picked up the win, and Rylan Denbow collected the save. Pirates move to 7-0, Mavericks fall to 1-6.
