Pittsburgh Completes a Sweep with a Comeback Victory in Texas

Down 5-0 early, Pittsburgh put up 2 runs in the 6th to get back in it, on a Larry Doyle two run HR, and then put up a 5 spot in the Top of the 9th to complete a comeback victory and earn a sweep at Texas.
Doyle (pictured) was 2 for 5 on the day with the HR & a Double. Honus Wagner went 2 for 3 with 2 Walks, and Jack “Chief” Meyers went 2 for 3 w/ a Walk.
Art Fromme & Ed Reulbach combined for 5 scoreless innings of relief for the Pirates.
Germany Schaefer went 4 for 5 for Texas
