Braves lose champ game, finish 2nd

Monona's season wrapped up on Sunday with a loss to Verona in the HTL Championship Game.  The Braves battled all year and fought their way to the title game in typical Braves fashion, scoring late in games and pulling out wins when they were critically needed.

The 2nd place finish is the best Final Four result for Monona since they won the league title in 2007.  Another hugely successful season for a group that consistently makes the playoffs year after year.

The Braves have now reached the Final Four nine times in 2002, 2007 (title), 2009, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2021 and 2023 (2nd). 

Big thanks goes out to all the players, families, fans, sponsors and other supporters for everything this amazing 2023 season.  They are all the resaon why this franchise has been so successful for so long.

Monona now looks ahead to the off-season in preparation for the 2024 season.
