2024 Schedule Finalized

The SWBL kicks off with two games on Tuesday, May 21st. The Reston Rockets will host the Deloraine Royals, while up north the Virden Oilers travel to Hamiota to take on the Red Sox. The very next night, Oak River travels to Rivers to get their seasons started. The 2-time defending champion Boissevain Centennials begin their title defense on Friday, May 24th as they visit Wawanesa. Finally, the Elkhorn Expos open their season on Sunday, May 26th as the host the defending champs in an afternoon tilt.
The 2024 SWBL season will be a carbon copy of the previous year, with all nine teams returning and no additional squads jumping in. All teams will play a 16-game schedule, playing everyone in the league twice. Here are some important details and dates for the season:
Season start date - May 21st
Season end date - July 15th
The top 4 teams make the playoffs.
The 5th place team will go to A Provincials (hosted in Hamiota) on July 19-21.
Senior AA Provincials (hosted in Morden) are July 19-21. The top two teams from the regular season will earn berths in the tournament. If Hamiota finished in the top 2, then the 3rd place finisher will replace them.
