Angels Start 2019 Season in Squamish

The Coquitlam Angels kick off their season in Squamish against the 2018 Men's AA provincial Champion's, Howe Sound Cannons of the North Shore Men’s Baseball League with two victories in Saturday's double-header.

 

The first road trip in the history of the Coquitlam Angels to Squamish was kicked off by a dominating performance by Alex Graham going 6 scoreless innings and 6 k’s. Grant Malm had 2 hits with Brendon Henits getting his first HR as an Angel to score the only run. 

 

The second game was won by Alex Dawson on the mound with Chris Foreman getting the save. The Angels combined for 8 hits over Howe Sound’s Slippery Squid Lefty, Slurson Thompson and too good of a mustache to be hitting in the 8th spot Kurt Malm.
