Pasowisty;Cubs claw back to win

The Neepawa Cubs bats were quiet until the 6th inning where they picked up 4 of their 5 hits on the night, scoring 4 runs. 2 of those came off the bat of Cody Pasowisty who homered for the 2nd time in 3 games. Lincoln Murray hit the ball well going 2-3 with a single, double, and a run scored for the Cubs (2-2). Winning pitcher Garrett Rempel was very good all night. Only giving up 3 hits and 4 walks for the complete game W. He struck out 12 batters. Rempel had an inflied single to lead off that big 6th inning.
For Minnedosa, Devin Foord was lights out for the Mavericks (0-4) going 5 shutout innings. He only gave up 1 hit, and 2 walks, while striking out 5.Luke Gugin pitched the 6th and ran into some hard luck with tough plays and one well struck ball. Austin Taylor threw a scoreless 7th inning. Offensively the Mavs struggled against 2023 pitcher of the year. In the 4th, Liam Bachewich would drive in 2 runs on a 2 out single. Scoring Josh McInnes and Andrew Richards giving the Mavericks a 2-0 lead. The Mavericks would threaten in the 6th putting 2 runners aboard, but couldnt chase anymore across.
In other action, Portage Padres(4-0) stayed hot with a 14-12 win over Plumas(2-2)
Caberry picked up their 3rd win in a row winning 13-4 over Austin. Carberry has now scored 44 runs in their last 3 games moving to 3-2. Austin dropped to 1-2.
