But in the top of the fourth the offence awakened for three runs on five hits to take the lead. The Marlins took the lead right back in the bottom half, but the Supers put up four in the fifth and never looked back in a 7-4 win.
Kholton Shewchuk started on the mound and went two innings, allowing two runs on two hits. Derek Palagian came in relief for two innings, also allowing two runs on three hits with three strikeouts to pick up the win. Kody Rock finished off, striking out seven batters in three innings, including an immaculate inning (three strikeouts on nine pitches) to earn the save.
Although the bats started extremely cold, they were able to come up with seven runs on eleven hits. Rock led the way with two singles and an rbi triple. Palagian had two singles and two rbi.
