More Provincial Berths and Playoff Matchups

With a win over the Hamiota Red Sox Tuesday night, the Wawanesa Brewers punched their ticket to the SWBL playoffs. The victory assured them 4th place in the league standings, lining up a 1st round match-up with the top seeded Boissevain Centennials. The Rivers Jets and Deloraine Roayls will meet in the other semi-final. Scheduleds for those series will be released when they become available.
That Tuesday night result also means that the Oak River Dodgers will be headed to Senior A Provincials. The 4-seed is now out of reach for the Dodgers, which means they finish the season as the 5-seed, giving themselves a berth in the tournament. A Provincials runs from July 19-21, and the Dodgers will represent the SWBL alongside the host Hamiota Red Sox.
