Provincial Recap

Thank you to our 2 teams for representing the Santa Clara league well at provincials.

1. Portage at the AA in Morden 

• Despite going 0-3 , had 2 very close games easily could have went their way
• Oldest player was 22 - are you serious? Look out at future provincials.
• Lack of arms didnt help 
  
  2. Carberry at the A in Hamiota
• Went 1-2 with a victory over Winnipeg and a 2-1extra inning loss to Oak River, and a 6-1 loss to Hamiota
• Qualified for Sunday Semi finals
• Lost 13-6 to Hmaiota (eventual winner) 
• Billeart threw like 15 innings in 4 games
• Creasy threw a solid 7 for a W

Well done everyone. Our league playoffs resume Wednesday with Plumas in Austin (Austin leads best of 3 1-0) and Minnedosa in Carberry (Minnedosa leads 1-0 in best of 3 )
