Plumas comes out swinging in Finals

Make it 5 in a row for the Plumas Pirates. Dont say I didnt tell you so. They picked up a huge 17-6 win tonight to grab a 1-0 championship series lead. Thats 5 straight wins since a playoff opening loss to the Austin A's.
Riley McBride got the win for Plumas with another quality start, going 6 strong before giving way to lefty veteran Justin Walker. Chad Melnic took the loss for Portage throwing 4 innings.
Offensively for Plumas, Sam Koncz was 3-4 with 3 runs scored and Rylan Single went 3-4 with 3 RBI, Brady Walker went 2-4 with 4 RBI. Daylan Laramee was a bright spot for Portage with a homerun to put them on the board. More details to come.
