Power Up for the 2019 Surge Season Tryouts.

As a potential player of the Surge team, you are committing to participate in the tryout process. Independent evaluators and St. Louis Surge representatives will conduct all tryouts and evaluate all players on an individual basis. The Surge tryouts consist of a one-day evaluation, which is closed to the public.

A closed tryout session for the St. Louis Surge will be held to be determined; upon completion of registration, schedule details will be provided.

Time: 9:15am Registration 10:00-2:00 Evaluation.

There will be a  $75 non-refundable pre-registration tryout fee. Players who would like to register the day of tryouts will be required to pay a $100 non-refundable pre-registration tryout fee. All online payments should be submitted through the online ticket system below.

All players registering for tryouts are required to submit a tryout registration form and should bring a copy of their professional resume as well their athletic resume. All players are required to bring a photo I.D. and a personal reversible jersey. Players who paid their registration fee online should bring a copy of their printed receipt to the Surge registration table the day of tryouts. Players selected to join the Surge roster will be reimbursed their paid registration fee.

Players are encouraged to arrive at least 45 minutes early for pre-tryout stretching and warm-ups.

The Surge will reach out to all players who have submitted 2019 tryout registration forms one week in advance.

  • All players must be willing to participate in an interview process conducted by the St. Louis Surge general manager and coaching staff.
  • All players must be female, be age 21 or older and will be required to submit a player profile highlighting current and past basketball experiences as well as a professional resume.
  • All players must provide a valid picture ID during registration before tryouts.
