Royals take 2 from Outlaws! Johbs get the wins! Burgers were phenomenal!

The Royals played their last regular season games today as they defeated the Outlaws by scores of 4-1 and 6-3. In the first game the Royals got 5 strong innings from Jesse Johb and 2 solid innings of relief from Paul Strueby. The Royals did not commit an error and despite only having five hits, two were big flies off the bats of Geoff Strueby and Brent Puetz. The second game saw the Royals start Josh Johb. Josh pitched well only giving up 2 hits in five innings. Josh gave way to Brett Yarskie who continued his strong pitching with two good innings of relief. The Royals only made one error and managed 8 hits in total with Aaron Strueby hitting a homerun. Next action for the Royals are league playoffs beginning Monday at 9:00pm vs. the Guns!
