The Royals defeated the Guns last night in game one of the best of three league semi final by a score of 6-1.  Russ Nielson threw 5 and 1/3 without giving up an earned run and Colin Bauml came in to finish the game and get the save.  The Royals had eight hits with Brent Puetz leading the way with a pair.  Kyle Yarskie had two rbis in the game as well.  Game 2 is tonight in Saskatoon at 6:30.  Game three if necessary will now be next Monday.
