Keandra McCardell - Head Coach

Coach McCardell comes to Conroe after 3 years at Dekaney HS where she coached volleyball and track. She also coached at Houston Skyline Volleyball Club for 5 years coaching with teams ranging from 11-18 years of age. Coach McCardell graduated from Ridge Point. She was a Two-time All-District 22-4A Setter of the Year, First-Team All-District selection, and Selected to Greater Houston Volleyball Coaches Association North All-Star Team.  Coach McCardell played volleyball at the University of Houston as a 4-year starter and 2-year team captain. Playing in over 418 sets, recorded over 30 double-doubles, and is 5th overall in career assist with 3.046. Coach McCardell has a BS in Psychology with a minor in Health.

De'Janae Gilmore - Junior Varsity

I am De’Janae Gilmore, former assistant coach for varsity volleyball and basketball at Seguin High School. A 2019 Willis High School graduate, I was a four-year letterman in volleyball and basketball and led my volleyball team to two regional semifinal finishes. I continued my volleyball career at Sam Houston State University, where I contributed to a WAC championship win. Firmly guided by my faith, I am passionate about mentoring young athletes and committed to their personal and athletic development.

Kim Grigsby - Freshman Gold

Coach Grigsby serves as the freshman volleyball coach, dedicated to instilling a deep understanding of the game in her players and demonstrating how these lessons can be integrated into their daily lives.

A proud graduate of Conroe High School in 2003, Coach Grigsby was an active member of the school's volleyball team. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Phoenix in 2023. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys supporting her three sons in their various athletic endeavors. One of her favorite pastimes is unwinding on the beach.
