The Greg Reinhard Baseball Academy, (GRB Academy) formed its first permanent location in the city of Madison in December of 2011. Despite the new location, the GRB Academy has been in existence since 2006, when professional baseball player Greg Reinhard began running camps at high school locations around Wisconsin.

From the beginning, the GRB Academy has made it’s motto “Baseball for the Serious Player.” Now, with the expanded facility, GRB is able to offer training for baseball and softball players of all abilities.

From the first camp ever held, to the current Academy, the training of players has always focused on small group or individual instruction, looking at the long term development of the players.

The GRB Academy is known by many as the top training location in Wisconsin and possibly the Midwest, with its development of players in the Academy, along with the development of the many college players who come from the Wisconsin Premier Organization (GRB Rays). The GRB Academy focuses on having the top trainers for baseball, softball and speed & strength training. All of our trainers have at minimum collegiate experience, with many having pro experience.

The Academy has 10 batting cages, 2 Iron Mike baseball pitching machines, 1 softball Jugs machine, and 3 pitching mounds in over 14,000 square feet of turfed area. 3 of our cages are 70 feet long, with the remaining 7 cages being 55 feet long.

Training and rentals are open to the public.

Gerry Fregien opened the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy – Monona on September 17th, 1984 at 4604 Monona Dr.. This is where the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy stayed until 2009 when we moved the pharmacy to our current expanded location at 4205 Monona Drive. The ownership stayed with Gerry until May 16th, 2013 when Eric Hewitt, a lifelong eastside Madison resident and current employee, bought the pharmacy.
