The Jays started the season with a 9-4 loss to Elmwood Thursday July 15. Eric Swanson Pitched for the Jays only scattering 4 hits and 2 earned. First game in 12 months i think the defense was a little rusty. Quentin Dredger hit a bomb for the jays for our only hit of the night. 

The Jays bounced back in game 2 against St. James with a 12-2 win. Free agent pickup Zach "Soup" Campbell threw a solid 5 innings with Scott Harris coming in to finish up the last 2 innings with a solid performance. Offensively for the Jays they were lead by a couple of offseason acquistions. Free agent Curtis i mean Chris Norquay with 2 hits, 2 BB and 3 runs and back for another season Quentin Dredger with 2 hits and 3 RBI's as well. Liam Allen also chipped in with a hit and 3 RBI's. Derek Funk rounded out the offense that night with a massive 3 RUN BOMB! Right fielder didn't even move. Next up for the Jays is new team to the league The Carillon Sultans on Thursday July 22 at Fines Fields 730 start. See you there.
