New Day, New Game.

After a disappointing loss at the Providence Academy Knights in Johnson City, the Bulldogs are back on the road again today, playing at the Fellowship of Christian Athlete Flames.  The address to the ballpark is 415 Meadow Creek, Rd, Bristol, TN, 37620.  First pitch is scheduled for 5:00.  Senior, Dru Owens will take the ball for the visiting Bulldogs.  JV action will follow the Varsity competition.  

We tip our cap to Providence, as they played a cleaner game overall than we did, but Bulldog Baseball had some bright spots.  Gavin Hardin hit a 2-Run HR over the right field fence in the top of the 4th inning.  Caleb Oaks hit a 3B (triple) in the 4th as well.  Leadoff hitter, Dru Owens had two hits, including a beautiful drag bunt, to go along with three stolen bases.  Owens has swiped a total of six bags in our two regular season games!  In addition to the homer, Hardin also swiped three bases for the visiting team.
