Hampton Baseball Notes

*Dru Owens' 11 K complete game performance at the Fellowship of Christian Athlete Flames on Friday was the second time in our first three games that a Bulldog hurler has struck out 11 batters, which is very impressive.

*As a ball club, in the first three games of the 2018 season, we are 21/21 in stolen base attempts, which is a staggering number.

*Senior corner infielder, Gavin Hardin has at least one RBI in all three games this season.

*Senior catcher, Brett Deaton continues to play solid overall baseball for the Bulldogs, showing good leadership and focus behind the plate.

*Sophomore OF, Caleb Oaks has a 3B (triple) and 2B (double) in the last two games, showing an ability to drive the baseball.

*Injured OF, Landen Street should be cleared to play by this coming Friday at the Sullivan East Patriots.

*Our first annual alumni game was a success. Everyone seemed to have a good time, and we were blessed with beautiful weather. We appreciate Mrs. Kristi Street and Mrs. Brenda Henry holding down the concession stand for us!
