Dbacks double up Cubs 10-5

CAIRNS, SK – The Saskatoon Diamondbacks scored 5 runs in the 5th on their way to a 10-5 win over the Saskatoon Cubs. Nolan Machibroda went six innings on the mound allowing 5 runs on six hits with 4 BBs and 2 walks. Connor Coverett walked two in the 7th before Ryan Olchoway got the final three outs including a K.
The Dbacks offence was led by Nolan Machibroda who went 2 for 3 with 3 RBIs. Tyrone Polson, Erick Trakalo and Zack Krysak had two hits each while Ryan Olchoway, Braydon Tiede, Drayson Snell and Ryan Crilly each picked up a hit.
With the win the Dbacks move their record to 20-10-1 overall and 16-5 in conference play. The Dbacks travel to Lloydminster to face the 4-11 Pirates on Saturday.
