Summer Sizzler Events

We are looking forward to having everyone at our Summer Sizzler event. 

Beside all of the great baseball games we will get to see from our 9U players we hope we will have a little something for everyone.

Our concession stand will be open 1/2 hour before the first game each day and remain open until a 1/2 hour after the last game finishes each day. We will offer a wide selection of drinks and food items.

We will have a basket raffle this year with some amazing baskets that were donated by local businesses to help support our SV 9U teams. 

Our home run derby contest will take place this year on our Pony field. The contest will take place on Saturday from 12 to 4pm. Entry to the derby is a $5 donation. Each swing of the bat will be recorded as a home run or an out. Each player has the opportunity to hit as many home runs as thay can before recording 10 outs. The player with the most home runs will be awarded the 2019 Home run derby trophy.

Also all day on Saturday we will have a pitching booth available. For a $2 donation the player will throw 3 pitches and see the speed recorded for each pitch. On the 4th pitch the player will guess what they think the speed of the pitch will be. For a correct guess a small prize will be awarded.
