The Supers 2018 season is just under a month away and will feature a 14 game schedule starting on Monday, May 14 with the home opener vs the Yorkton Yankees. The Southeast Senior Baseball League will consist of seven teams playing a full 16 game schedule, along with two teams playing a half schedule. The Supers will have a home and home with the Yorkton Yankees, Langenburg Legends (formerly Langenburg Indians), Willowbrook Royals, Roblin Stars, Grandview Lakers and the Back Forty Brewers out of Yorkton. They will also travel to Yorkton to face the Parkland Padres and the Yorkton Orioles Twilite (35 and over) teams to round out the schedule.
The league playoffs will start on approximately July 10 as all teams will qualify except for the Padres and Orioles. Round one will be a best of three series with the #1 seed getting a bye to round two, #2 vs #7, #3 vs #6 and #4 vs #5 with the higher seed getting the extra home game if necessary. Round 2 would begin shortly after with the #1 seed playing the lowest remaining seed while the other two teams would play each in a best of three. The league final is a best of five.
In 2017 the Supers finished third in the regular season with 9 wins, 5 losses and 2 ties. In the playoffs they defeated the Roblin Stars two games to none in round one. In round two they beat Langenburg two games to none as well to make their first trip to the final since 2009 where they would lose in three straight to the Yorkton Yankees.
