The SOUTHEAST TEXAS BASKETBALL SCHOOL is celebrating it's 23rd summer of operation. Founded by East Chambers high school head basketball coach Todd Sutherland and former West Orange-Stark high school coach Doug McCarter, this fun, fundamental camp is based on Christian values and basketball knowledge. The SOUTHEAST TEXAS BASKETBALL SCHOOL operates every summer for two weeks for boys and girls, in Beaumont, Texas.
Camps are conducted on the beautiful campus of Westgate Memorial Baptist Church, In Beaumont, Texas.
Camp Info: Early registration is encouraged. Spots are limited and reserved after registration fee is paid. Walk-ins are invited based on attendance numbers.
Lunches are $6.00 per day. Campers may elect to bring their own lunch as well. The SETBBS operates on a "camp bank" system. Campers may deposit money into the bank and charge lunch, snacks and drinks during the week.
The camp day includes fundamental work, drills, 4 on 4, 5 on 5 full-court play, contest and more. Our veteran, experienced staff have been with us for many years. Our staff sets the standard for the Southeast Texas Basktball School.
Registration starts at 7:30 am on Monday. Campers may attend open gym every moring from 8:00 am - 9:00 am. Camp begins at 9:00 am and concludes at 4:00 pm.(1:00 pm on Friday) Open gym continues from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
